TBI Highlights Woman of the Channel, Jasmina Muller of 8x8
Jasmina Muller is currently the Regional Vice President for the Channel West at 8x8. She came to 8x8 in July of 2018 looking to expand her career within the cloud industry. Coming from a telco background of more than 20+ years, Jasmina needed to see what else was out there. With so many companies looking to be the next best "transformation" company, she says, she really liked the vision and story behind 8x8. They are the only cloud company to own their technology stack from the start and unite voice, video, chat and contact center onto one platform.
She supports a top notch team of six channel managers (soon to be seven), who support the 8x8 partner community within their respective territories. She manages the West Channels Region, which is everything west of the Mississippi with channel managers located in Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, Southern California, Northern California, and Oregon. Her primary role at 8x8 is to serve as the escalation path for their channel partners and to ensure an excellent experience with 8x8.
What do you love about your job?
What I love most about my job are the people I work with, starting with my team, who inspire me to go above and beyond. It is my top priority to make sure that I always do my best to support them. The culture we have at 8x8 is all about a teamwork approach. Whether it be, channel, direct sales, marketing or training--we are one team, and we are there to support each other. The dedication, support and camaraderie with everyone in the company is contagious; you can see it and feel it. Having that makes my job that much more enjoyable!
What do you like about working with TBI?
What I like about working with TBI is the quality of their employees and the time they invest with new partners. I have seen TBI's Channel Managers consistently take the time to invest in new business owners and support them in growing their business. Not everybody in the industry does that... and it works.

What is a key tidbit you give to others?
When you feel like quitting and things get tough, that’s when you are the strongest. You may believe that is when you are the weakest, but that is not true. Acknowledging it’s a tough time and evaluating how to face the challenge shows that you are ready to take on the world! Take it day by day and you can accomplish anything you put your mind to!
Favorite vacation/getaway destination?
My favorite vacation I've been on was to Hawaii, but my bucket list includes Australia or New Zealand!
If you could have any superpower what would it be?
To be able to read minds.
