What do you love about your job?
I enjoy the challenge of the job. To be honest, this is the most challenging role I’ve ever had. This was a completely new and unfamiliar industry for me, and certainly intimidating. But it makes my job exciting, and there’s always something new to learn and with such a huge community of supportive people to learn from.
What do you like about working with TBI?
TBI is always a pleasure to work with. Their willingness to collaborate and brainstorm with both RapidScale and the Cox Business sides to help create and execute a synchronized message within their community is always appreciated, and a vital message at that as we’re in this new(ish) environment of more connectivity and cloud-focused needs of which is only going to keep expanding.
Re-examine all you have been told in school or church or in any book; and dismiss whatever insults your soul. - Walt Whitman
What is a key tidbit you give to others?
Give your best, everyday (it sounds cliché, I know). But at least you know that you tried, even if you didn’t get the response from the world that you wanted. Also, go outside & spend as much time as possible there. I promise it will make things better.
Favorite vacation/getaway destination?
Anywhere at this point!! I love any adventurous travel, but it’s always nice to just visit my family in Atlanta.
Do you have a goal outside of your career that you'd like to achieve?
I made a pact to get scuba certified with a couple of friends this year (I live in Southern California so I have no excuse!)
