Tamara Prazak is Director of Channel Programs & Strategy at data center solutions provider Cyxtera. She is responsible for developing the key strategies and programs that deliver optimized results for channels and strategic partnerships.
Tamara has 20 years of experience in technology. Prior to Cyxtera, she was part of the leadership team that built the ViaWest channel program from inception to greater than 30% of the company’s bookings. She then drove the development and execution of channel strategy for Flexential, which formed when Peak 10 and ViaWest merged, resulting in >30% YOY growth in channel bookings.

Tamara has a business administration degree from the University of Illinois, and when she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and running.
What do you love about your job?
I love working in the channel; the relationships that I have formed with our partners who are also friends and the fact that we’re building something together makes for a fun adventure.
What do you like about working with TBI?
One of my favorite things about TBI is that your VP of Marketing is a female — Corey Cohen. As a big supporter of women in tech, it’s great to see her in that role, and she’s doing innovative things in the partner marketing space.
“Do one thing every day that scares you.”– Eleanor Roosevelt
What is a key tidbit you'd give to others?
Have grace with yourself. I think that as women we’re each our own toughest critics. Usually no one is harder on you than you, so cut yourself some slack!
Favorite vacation/getaway destination?
Sevilla, Spain (studied there in college and one of my most favorite places in the world)
If you could have any superpower what would it be?
To cure cancer.
