6 Questions with Gianna Scorsone from Aircall

Gianna recently joined Aircall as the General Manager of North America, driving the go to market strategy for the fast-growing region. She has been a strategic player in scaling sales organizations within the SaaS and tech spaces for nearly two decades. Her expertise and guidance have been instrumental in improving sales processes, enablement, revenue generation, and leadership development to drive organizations forward. 

However, she is most passionate when she is part of a community, helping to empower and mentor others in order to reach their personal and professional goals. Gianna's impressive results and visionary leadership were recently recognized when she was named one of the 2017 Female Executives of the Year by the Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Gianna serves on the Board of Brooklyn based nonprofit Read718 as the chair of the Governance Committee, is a member of Northfield Mount Hermon's Alumni Council within the Strategic Advisory Committee, and is an advisor to a variety of organizations within the start-up community. Gianna is a self-proclaimed borough-hopper having grown up between Manhattan and Brooklyn.

What do you love about your job? 

People. As cliché as it sounds, I'm at my happiest when I am focused on team and individual development. I believe that if I focus on people, the results are the wonderful byproduct. I also love how many hats I get to wear and the speed at which I need to change them!

What do you like about working with TBI?

It's a true partnership and I realized this pretty quickly. Everyone that I have met at TBI thus far wants to build something great with us and have gone the extra mile to help create the voice for how we stand out: SMB, simplicity, pre-built integrations, at a cost effective price point. As such, it's clear that TBI cares for each partner's success because of the time and focus dedicated to truly understanding who we are and our best use cases. This has allowed us to build a strategy together.

What is a key tidbit you give to others?

Favorite vacation/getaway destination? 

Santa Margherita, Ligure, Italy, on my aunt Silvana's balcony playing cards and drinking wine. 

Do you have a goal outside of your career that you'd like to achieve?

I’d love to practice meditation to help level out the high's and low's that we experience in sales-driven roles and in a hyper-growth company!
