What is a key tidbit you give to others?

Never stop learning new skills. The brain is a muscle that needs constant exercise, and learning something new is one of the best ways to stay sharp.

Favorite vacation/getaway destination?

I fell in love with the mountains as a child on a family trip to North Carolina. I have taken trips to the Rockies, Green Mountains, and Blue Ridge mountains, but my favorite mountain trip so far was in Canada.  I traveled from Alberta to Banff and up the Icefields Parkway and was blown away by the landscape. The next cold mountain adventure will be Iceland!

Do you have a goal outside of your career that you'd like to achieve?

I trained in martial arts for several years in the past and had to take a break. My next personal goal is to get back on the mats and get my brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
