Melanie Williamson has over 25 years of marketing experience in diverse industries such as technology, incentive travel, legal and broadcasting. No matter the industry, Melanie learned that the basics always apply; find the competitive differentiators and highlight what makes you the best in an interesting and compelling way. Melanie has spent the last 7 years in the CCaaS space and considers it home. The fast-changing segment of Customer Experience (CX) and Experience-as-a-Service not only highlights the absolute connection between technology and the human condition, but continuedly connects and improves upon it. The fact that CX improves people’s lives brings meaningful rewards to the work being done.
What do you love about your job?The people! Whether I’m working with my marketing colleagues, our channel sales team or sales partners, this industry is full of some of the most fun, interesting and smartest people I’ve ever met.
What do you like about working with TBI?
The people and creativity. TBI continues to bring fresh, new ideas to an industry where copy-cats are very common.

What is a key tidbit you give to others?
First, nice gets you everywhere. Whether it’s an airline representative, a service agent or even a store clerk, if you’re nice, these people with power and answers are much more likely to help you. The second piece is at the end of the day, all we humans have is our reputation. Make sure it’s a good one.
Favorite vacation/getaway destination?
Anywhere that involves a beach or ocean. Mexico is a favorite but coastal Oregon will soon be home - they’re both beautiful and the sea brings me peace.
