What do you love about your job? Jennifer Kim

I enjoy being the “first line of defense”. As a member of the Quals team, I like being able to weed out requests and only send opportunities that are fully vetted to the proposal teams. It’s nice being able to make their jobs even just a little easier.

What do you like about working at TBI?

I love how friendly and team oriented everyone here is. No matter what the question is or what you need help with, there is always someone willing to help or point you in the right direction.  We definitely set each other up for success (on our own team as well as others)!

What is a key tidbit you give to others?

Treat the janitor the same way you treat the CEO.  We’re all human, just trying to make it in this world. Everyone deserves respect.

Favorite vacation/getaway destination?

If we’re talking a short little weekend getaway, I’d have to say Starved Rock.  It’s a beautiful place and a great location to relax and unwind.

Vacation spot would have to be Boulder/Denver, CO. I love the mountain scenery, and (even though I’m terrible at it) I love snowboarding. So many bruises, but it’s worth it!

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Chaos Magic Reality Warping (think Wanda Maximoff, The Scarlet Witch, from The Avengers).
