What do you love about your job?
I love that every day brings something different – a new opportunity where we need to design a solution or solve a new business problem. Also, I enjoy constantly finding ways to add value to my partners! The fact that it is ever-changing keeps me interested and challenged.
What do you like about working at TBI?
Lots of things! The people, the culture, the evolution from how small we were when I started to over 200 employees today. We are large enough to have specialists and support in each category, yet still manageable . We have a culture that embraces strengths, offers the tools necessary to enable growth , provide education and resources. I love that my voice is heard and changes can actually be made based on employee feedback.
“Be yourself; everyone else is taken.” - Oscar Wilde
What is a key tidbit you give to others?
As I have told my kids as long as they could understand - live by the golden rule and you cannot go wrong - “treat others the way you would like to be treated.” The world could use more kindness.
Favorite vacation/getaway destination?
I haven’t been too many places outside the US- I have a long bucket list however. I love going to Cabo with my family every summer and spending time in Canada as a kid . I really enjoyed Costa Rica with TBI and my daughter!
If you could have any superpower what would it be?
A couple - I would like to read people’s minds and fly so I could get places much faster. I love traveling but I am very impatient on how long it takes to get places!
