What do you love about your job?
The best aspect of my job has to be the people I have the honor to interact with daily; this includes internal teammates, external partners and industry thought leaders. I am constantly learning and making friends, what could be better?
What do you like about working with TBI?
I love working with TBI because not only are you friends that know how to represent our products from a sales standpoint, but your technical team is wonderful to work with and truly understands the great value that Appgate technology can bring to the channel.
Nothing is ever as bad or as good as it seems so- do not get too excited over anything bad or good. Stay even-keeled, life improves greatly.
What is a key tidbit you give to others?
When you slow down in life and look at yourself and your actions; you learn a great deal. I did not realize that activity and action are not always warranted. Sometimes sitting still and thinking is a better approach. Over the last 18 months of limited social engagement and travel, I have found awesome answers in stillness. This, however, does not cancel out the need for “sense of urgency” in sales and partnership. This is more about looking at what you are doing and whether you can work better and smarter personally.
Favorite vacation/getaway destination?
Hands down, San Jose, Cabo, my favorite place on Earth.
Do you have a goal outside of your career that you'd like to achieve?
My passion is attracting and elevating women in technology. We need many more women, especially in cybersecurity and I love talking about the benefits of our field and how to get started. I also love to promote the work of amazing women, just as you are doing today with this post so thank you from the bottom of my heart TBI!
