Bill Vander Vennet Promoted to TBI’s Regional Vice President of Strategic Partner Programs

Experienced Channel veteran leading partner and company growth by strengthening partner resources

CHICAGO, IL – Leading technology distributor, TBI, announces the promotion of Bill Vander Vennet to Regional Vice President of Strategic Partner Programs. In his new role, Vander Vennet will focus on strategically identifying IT growth opportunities for different verticals, driving TBI’s mobility, referral and contact center programs through their partner community, and more.

Before working at TBI, Vander Vennet worked for the technology companies Bridgevine, Inc. and Acceller (prior to their acquisition). During his time there, he served as Senior Director, leading their Channel program that focused on acquiring consumer internet, video and voice customers for major telco brands, while also growing yearly revenues from $7M to $75M. Vander Vennet also notably worked for Channel provider, AT&T, before joining TBI’s team, where he helped build their third-party retail distribution channel for consumer internet.

Celebrating his fifth year at TBI, Vander Vennet’s tenure began in 2016 when he joined to help strengthen and stand up TBI’s Partner Referral Program. Showing great success, he was then promoted to Director of Sales for Strategic Partner Programs after one year with the organization. As part of this position, he led a team of channel managers that focused on acquiring new partners, expanding existing partner sales and continuing to grow TBI’s Partner Referral Program. Within his new role as Regional Vice President of Strategic Partner Programs, Vander Vennet will continue to build up TBI’s partner relationships through their referral program, along with focusing on strategically growing TBI opportunities to different verticals.
