The annual TBI Big Event was held in Chicago at the historic Soldier Field on May 9th, bringing together some of the largest vendors and most knowledgeable industry experts in the channel.
At the event kick-off, Granite Telecommunications, a $1.4 billion provider of communications services to multilocation businesses and government agencies, presented a ceremonial check to JDRF representatives and announced a $10,000 donation to JDRF to fund diabetes research.

Speaking on behalf of JDRF was Mike Howe, a high school student who speaks around Chicagoland about Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). Howe told the story of his diagnosis and emphasized the importance of funding T1D research.
