Channel sales professional returns to TBI to strengthen VAR and MSP partner community.
CHICAGO – Leading technology distributor, TBI, welcomes back former employee, Grayson Throckmorton, as their VAR Inside Channel Manager. In this role, Throckmorton will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding and delivering a concierge experience for all new VAR and MSP partners.
Throckmorton started his sales career in 2014, working consecutively for two leading sports equipment brands. He then transitioned into the telecommunications industry in 2017, where he worked for TBI as an Inbound Account Manager for their Omni Center. Showing great success in this role, Throckmorton received many notable awards while at the organization, including Outstanding Employee Award in 2017, Telco Top Performer in 2017 and Top Dog Award in 2019. After leaving TBI in 2019, Throckmorton worked as a sales development representative for software companies’ Renaissance Electronic Services and Encamp, and most recently worked as a business development representative for the managed cloud service provider, Lume Cloud.
In his new role at TBI, Throckmorton will be working closely with the organization’s VAR and MSP partners, further supporting their success and strengthening their relationship with the company. In addition, Throckmorton will also help in supporting TBI’s VAR in a Box reseller program that delivers a pathway for traditional VARs to embrace a monthly, recurring subscription model into their portfolio of offerings.

Throckmorton, his wife and their four cats (Alloy, Mykonos, Nora and Alessi) are currently celebrating buying their first home together – an original farmhouse built in the year 1900. While not at work, Throckmorton enjoys doing home improvement projects on their new house, along with taking road trips, camping, hiking, woodworking, and playing tennis/ping pong.
