Matt Turczyniak Promoted to TBI’s Regional Vice President of Sales for OmniCenter and Channel Sales Enablement

The new role has the TBI veteran leading greater partner expansion and driving revenue growth for the Master Agent.

CHICAGO, IL - March 3, 2021 – Leading technology distributor, TBI, announces the promotion of Matt Turczyniak to Regional Vice President of Sales for OmniCenter and Channel Sales Enablement. In his new role, Turczyniak will drive more profitable growth for TBI, its partner community and providers through call center campaigning and teaming programs utilizing TBI’s broad portfolio of 140+ providers.

Turczyniak has an extensive history within the sales industry, working for Telenet Associates Inc. (TAI) in sales operation and management, before joining TBI in 2008. In his new role as Regional Vice President of Sales – OmniCenter and CSE, Turczyniak’s core responsibilities focus on further developing the unique partner and provider programs that he established in his previous position as Senior Director of Inside Sales. Turczyniak has been a key player in helping grow partner business, utilizing TBI’s OmniCenter for everything from taking incoming calls outside business hours, managing incoming web leads and processing transactional sales to selling complementary products and solutions to existing customers and handling partners’ base management. Under his leadership, TBI developed programs focused on increasing net new revenue and customer growth by improving retention, identifying upsell opportunities and reengaging customers with new solutions and providers. Turczyniak will continue to oversee the Channel Sales Enablement (CSE) team as well, as they focus on connecting partners with the right providers and grow teaming opportunities.

matt-turkKnown for his extreme organizational abilities and team development skills, Turczyniak has been recognized several times over the years for his contributions to TBI, winning Manager of the Year in 2016 and being a five-time President’s Club member. As a true sales leader, he is always looking for ways to generate new revenue, increase ARPU and break into new and challenging markets. Turczyniak is approaching his new position the same as he has throughout his career – with a great deal of focus and discipline, saying “You don’t need motivation if you are disciplined. Discipline is knowing what to do; knowing when to do it; doing it to the best of your abilities and doing it that way every single time.”

Outside of TBI, Turczyniak enjoys spending time with his family. He has been married to his wife, Sam, for 10 years (together for 16) and they have two daughters; Payton, who is 13 years old, is obsessed with being the best soccer player in the world and Natalia, who is 11 years old, is a naturally gifted athlete that excels at many sports, particularly soccer and basketball. The family has three puppies: American Golden Retriever, Bo; Old English Crème Golden Retriever, Link; and German Shepherd, Dante. Along with being an avid skateboarding enthusiast and huge fan of Rodney Mullen, Turczyniak enjoys playing video games and learning how to do new projects around the house. If not working in telecom, Turczyniak would be chasing tornadoes and investigating other weather phenomena across the globe.
