Wunderlich was previously on a TTL system and had to install phones through Nortel at each office site as well as pay for the switch, phones, and also to have an engineer come in to install the system. Facing a lack of responsive, cost-effective telecommunications support, Wunderlich was looking for faster and more integrated operations at its newly opened offices. To further complicate matters, Wunderlich offices are in over 30 cities nationally, with phone systems split between four carriers and broadband spread among six carriers.
Wunderlich turned to MetTel and the company's SD-WAN solution which was up and running in time to capture the market opportunity created by the surprising federal election outcome, which sent the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 to record highs.
