TBI’s Operations Department has launched an exciting new program to honor an employee of the month. Recognizing individuals who go above and beyond expectations in their role, the Recognition Committee (one of the department’s four committees), works to improve internal processes and morale. Every month, managers of each team nominate an employee that has performed exceptionally in their role while demonstrating the 10 Standards that the department overall holds themselves accountable to. The Employee of the Month is announced in monthly department meetings and is presented with an award.
Congratulations to those whom have been recognized as Operations Employee of the Month so far this year:
Derrick Glahn, Project Manager
Throughout his first year at TBI, Derrick has continuously gone above and beyond to ensure our partners receive accurate information and timely support through effective communication with colleagues and TBI providers.
Derrick was nominated as January’s Operations Employee of the Month by Hope Onweller, Program Manager. Hope shared that Derrick is proactive in managing partner orders and always looking for ways to improve. He is a true team player, and has even assisted in training members outside of his department on provider tools and processes.
Roberto Rumbolo, Senior Proposal Specialist
Roberto has worked for TBI for two years, starting his career as a Proposal Specialist. He has since been promoted to Senior Proposal Specialist, focusing on Enterprise-level partners.
Roberto was nominated by Support Manager Adan Pena for overperforming on various occasions. Adhereing strictly to the third Standard of TBI’s Operations ten Standards, providing the best partner experience in the industy, Roberto stayed after hours to ensure 16 locations were quoted for a partner. To show his appreciation, the partner praised Roberto with the following words:

Julia Gomulka, Cable Specialist
Julia started her career at TBI three years ago, and has received praise throughout her time for her positive attitude and strong work ethic. Recently, Julia was appointed as Team Lead among Cable Specialists.
She was nominated by Support Manager Katie Muhr, who said that Julia has great time management skills, is always willing to help her team by teaching them best practices and process, and keeps the partner front of mind by following up on outstanding items.
