CHICAGO – June 6, 2018 – TBI announced today that Steve Johnson, formerly of CenturyLink, has joined the master agency as a National Referral Channel Manager, supporting the company’s referral partners.
In this role, Steve will be focused on the acquisition and support of new referral partners for TBI’s OmniCenter. He will be focused on channel partners in the western half of the US and select strategic verticals nationwide.

Prior to joining TBI, Steve spent eight years at CenturyLink in regional management and business development. There, he managed B2B and consumer sales teams and achieved the Top 20% Manager award six times, Top 15% Annual Manager Award and Top 3% Circle of Excellence Award.
In 2011, he started on the track to develop his own company that sold DTV and Internet to large apartment complexes and hotels. The company eventually evolved into Via TV in 2014 and grew in annual revenue to $3.8 million in annual sales. He launched a SmarTV product that established future-proofing for the hotel industry and is being used in six hotel brands across the U.S. and also won President’s Club twice at Verizon Wireless, Destination Ovation and Bravo Club.
In his free time, Steve likes to go golfing, fishing and hiking in the beautiful landscape of Colorado where he lives with his wife of 21 years, Candace, and their lab Axel, named after his great grandfather. He recently sold the company and is looking forward to the new challenges TBI will bring.
