CHICAGO – November 6, 2019 – To better enable their partners’ conversations through discovery, design and build, TBI has made a significant technology hire with the addition of Anish Patel as Vice President, Emerging Technologies. The former GTT enterprise sales engineering executive joins the largest privately-held master agent to lead solution engineers and build out subject matter experts in cloud infrastructure, communications and security.
The channel has been changing at lightning speed. Now more than ever, sub-agents have nearly endless options when it comes to selling cloud solutions and serving as technology consultants through cloud migrations, further enabling their customers to take data to the edge, restructure enterprise network architecture and transform businesses, digitally.
As Vice President of Emerging Technologies at TBI, Anish will work closely with vendors to identify next-gen products and create specific programs that TBI partners can leverage to increase sales. With over 20 years of experience discovering solutions in IT & Telecom services, Patel brings a plethora of experience to TBI, specifically focusing on sales and engineering. Most recently, he worked with GTT on building out a new enterprise sales organization focused on sales and customer success. Anish left GTT with many accomplishments, including his ability to achieve organizational goals while fostering strong SE and Sales relationships.
"We are very excited to bring Anish on board to TBI. As a seasoned leader with 20+ years of experience as a technology professional, he will lead our team of technical resources supporting our partners," said Scott Whalen, TBI's Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. "His extensive background in cloud, hosting networking, security, disaster recovery and application management will immediately serve TBI partners well as we continue to aid them in providing the best solutions to their customers."
Anish is prepared to lead TBI in developing and simplifying procedures as well as working with partners to design customer's network architecture to account for cloud. As he works to develop relationships with TBI partners, he will make subject matter hires to better support cloud infrastructure, communication and security initiatives. His background will be leveraged to facilitate more consultative, solution oriented discussions around next-gen services that Partners can use to drive more value to their customers.
"I've always held high admiration for TBI while supporting the channel in former roles," said Patel. "I'm super excited to join the TBI family and the leadership team who are razor-focused on driving crazy success to our partners while helping end customers identify the right solutions that enable the best possible business outcomes."
