TBI Expands Partner Resources with New Channel Manager

Leading technology services distributor demonstrates commitment to supporting Channel partners by adding new Channel Manager.

CHICAGO – Leading technology brokerage firm, TBI, announces the addition of Channel Manager, Hunter Owens, to serve partners in northern Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas regions.

Owens joins TBI after spending over three years at TBI provider, Lumen, as a Channel Manager. While in thisHeadshot (002) role, Owens was responsible for maintaining and growing partner relationships in the Texas and Oklahoma marketplaces. Attaining a 132% average quota during his tenure, Owens showed great success in this role and was frequently recognized as a top sales performer for the Western US. Prior to joining Lumen’s team, Owens attended University of Arkansas at Little Rock and obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology.

As a TBI Channel Manager, Owens will be responsible for growing their market share for his designated territories, along with providing a white glove experience to partners to expand sales growth.

“I am looking forward to strengthening the partner relationships TBI has built in the marketplace, cultivating new ones, and helping to facilitate outcomes partners are wanting to see when working with a distributor. It’s time to break down barriers and build something exciting in this evolving marketplace,” said Owens when asked about his new role.

“It took us a while to find our person for this market because it’s imperative to the Channel community that we find someone who will add value, go to war for our partners and ensure they have what they need to be successful under a TBI partnership. It was clear from the get-go that Hunter was this person, and he was recommended by many partners, which is why we moved so quickly once we engaged him. We will continue to listen to our partners and bring on folks they recommend to facilitate mutual success. We couldn’t be happier for Hunter to join this Rocketship,” said TBI’s RVP of Channel Sales, Marco Sanchez, when asked about Owens’ addition to TBI.

“I have certain “non-negotiables” that are an absolute MUST to be a successful Channel Manager for my go-to-market approach at growing a channel. Hunter checks every one of those boxes. One of the biggest factors is the ability and desire to find a way to win. Hunter is a competitor AND a winner. I am so excited to have the opportunity to support and work with Hunter,” said TBI’s Director of Channel Sales, Chris Holloway, when asked about Owens’ addition to TBI.

Outside of work, Owens enjoys spending time with his wife and 6-month-old daughter, along with enjoying some of his hobbies including playing sports, fishing, hunting, traveling and volunteering for the organization, Miracle League.
