Chicago, IL, May 21, 2020 – TBI was named the winner in eight categories of the Stevie® Awards from The 18th Annual American Business Awards®.
The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners; winners will be presented live at the 2020 ABA Virtual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, August 5th.
TBI was honored in categories at the Gold, Silver and Bronze levels. Gold Stevie Awards received were for Branded Entertainment – TBI Presents: Cybersecurity and Events & Live Webcasts – TBI Open: Go Big or Go Home. Corey Cohen, TBI’s Vice President of Marketing received a Silver Stevie Award for Woman of the Year, as TBI's first female executive.
Multiple Bronze Stevie Awards were received across departments: IT Department of the Year – TBI’s IT Department: The Engine That Keeps It All Running; Support Department of the Year – TBI’s OmniCenter: The Backbone of the Organization; Maverick of the Year – Bryan Reynolds: A Shining Star; and Tech Event – TBI’s Big Event 2019: Technology + Enablement on Demand. TBI Founder, President and Philanthropist Geoff Shepstone received the Bronze for Lifetime Achievement Award, with one judge describing him as “An innovative leader who is partner and customer centric and gives generously of his time to charitable efforts and his team.”
