CHICAGO, IL – TBI, the nation’s leading technology services distributor, announces the promotion of Caitlin Baronti to Director of Human Resources. In this new role, Baronti will serve as the acting mentor and leader for TBI’s HR and office administrative staff.

In 2021, Baronti and TBI’s Senior Director of Operations, Bryan Reynolds, started a home-grown Leadership Development Program for emerging leaders within the organization. This year-long program provides employees the opportunity to learn and practice management skills, preparing them to be successful as they advance through their careers. Baronti also heads up the organization’s mentorship program, connecting individuals from different levels wanting to strengthen their cross-functional relationships, and Camaraderie Committee, which plans TBI’s awareness days and company culture events.

In her new role as Director of Human Resources, Baronti will continue to strengthen the organization by leading its HR and administration departments. Some of her responsibilities will include strategic planning and goal setting for her team, recruitment and onboarding, overseeing compensation and benefits for employees, employee relations, benefits administration, training, and keeping up-to-date with any laws that may affect the organization or its employees.

“I’m thrilled to step into my new role of Director of Human Resources. I’ve been with TBI for almost seven years and the company has provided me with many development opportunities that led me to this new phase of my career. What makes our company special is the people who show up each day and bring their best selves to work. The collaborative culture we’ve created here is so unique and I’m grateful to work with such talented team members. It’s been a pleasure watching TBI grow and advance into the organization we are today; I look forward to continuing to add to its success,” said Baronti when asked about her new role.

“Caitlin has continued to add immense value to our organization for over seven years. From hiring the finest in the industry and seeking the best benefits packages for our employees to battling the hardships that COVID-19 caused, Caitlin has done a lot in all aspects of the HR role over the years. I could not think of a better person for this new Director of Human Resources role, and I look forward to seeing Caitlin's career progression while in it,” said TBI’s Senior Vice President of Finance, Pete Shah.
