CHICAGO, IL – December 7, 2016 – TBI announced today that Dick Bennett has joined the Master Agency as a National Channel Manager, serving the company’s agent partner base out of Minnesota. Bennett brings to TBI 16 years in the telecommunications industry, with proven talent in sales leadership and business development.
Bennett started his career in telecom as an Account Executive for Teletek, where he was hired on as the company’s third employee. During his tenure there, he played a large role in the development and growth of the company, transforming it from a parts brokerage to a full-service Avaya Business partner. Eventually, he worked his way to becoming an owner of the company, up until it merged with Transcend Communications in 2006.
Mostly recently, Bennett served as a Cloud Voice Specialist for Integra, supporting the Channel Sales teams by providing the resources and tools needed to understand the Unified Communication Cloud Voice (UCCV) market. He was also responsible for providing configuration expertise to build solutions tailored to customers’ needs.
Bennett graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration/Organizational Communications from Concordia College. During his free time, he volunteers for youth ministries at his church and enjoys being active outdoors. He is always striving to further his telecommunications expertise and has earned certifications for the Mitel, Avaya, and ShoreTel Communications phone systems and contact center solutions.
