This list recognizes individuals working to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in technology channels, building a more open and welcoming work environment.
CHICAGO, IL – TBI, the nation’s leading technology services distributor, is excited to announce that their Senior Director of Sales Operations, Bryan Reynolds, is a Channel Futures’ DE&I 101 honoree for the second year in a row. This list recognizes individuals from a wide spectrum of multicultural backgrounds who are driving diversity, equity and inclusion in the technology channel through their words, actions and leadership.
Reynolds started his tenure at TBI in 2014, serving in a variety of roles on the sales team. Currently, as their Senior Director of Sales Operations, he leads a team of 80+ individuals who provide TBI’s partner and customer community with back-office support that ranges from quoting and solution design to implementation advocacy and project management.
During the pandemic, Reynolds saw the need for TBI employees to have a safe space to openly share their thoughts, feelings and struggles that they were going through. With that idea in mind, he teamed up with TBI’s Executive Assistant, Ashley Kain, to create a home-grown diversity and inclusion committee that they call Resonate. This committee allows TBI employees to openly share thoughts on uncomfortable topics related to DE&I, discuss ideas on how to create a more diverse and inclusive work environment, along with also coming up with ideas on how they can give back to the community.
“I’m so grateful to be included on Channel Futures’ DE&I 101 list again and appreciative of the chance to continue to work alongside the other honorees. DE&I is the cornerstone for employee development and success, and I’m delighted to see our industry take notice of that,” said Reynolds.
“Bryan has always been, and continues to be, a catalyst for positive change in the DE&I space, not only within the channel, but within the TBI community as well. He has a distinctive way of creating safe spaces in which people feel comfortable opening up and speaking about a variety of subjects including tough topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Bryan is the embodiment of what it means to be an inclusive and impactful leader,” said Kain.
“I’m so happy that Bryan was featured on the prestigious Channel Futures DE&I 101 list for the second year in a row. If you have the pleasure of working with Bryan, then you work with one of the most inclusive and compassionate leaders in the business. He’s a fantastic example of a manager who brings his whole self to work and encourages others to do the same. He does this while leading one of the largest teams within our organization and spearheading several important subcommittees that significantly impact our day-to-day,” said TBI’s Director of Human Resources, Caitlin Baronti.
In addition to being recognized as an honoree for Channel Futures’ DE&I 101 list in 2021 and 2022, Reynolds was also named as a Crain’s Chicago Business Notable LGBTQ Executive in 2021.
